Dean Maxwell Eagle Project - Sensei Gary Diven Memorial Rock Garden

Posted on Mar 20 2017 - 9:53am

Dear Fellow Troop 190 Members and Alumni,

Along with being a Boy Scout, I am a senior brown belt at the Dillsburg Karate Academy located at 220 South Second Street in Dillsburg.  I am working on my Eagle Scout project, which is planned to be a memorial rock garden to honor Sensei Gary Diven, a founder of the Dillsburg Karate Academy and an active member of the Dillsburg community prior to his death.  I am planning to build this rock garden this coming April and May in front of the building housing the Karate Academy on Second Street.

Scout Credits

Posted on Jan 9 2017 - 9:04pm

If your son participated in any of our fundraisers or you requested a credit instead of receiving reimbursement for expenses, you have scout credits.  The troop keeps track of scout credits and applies them to offset the cost of scouting events your son attends such as campouts.  If you would like to know your scout credit balance, please contact our treasurer, Mireya Carlsen, at mscarlsen@verizon.net.
