Troop190 meets every Thursday evening from 7:30pm - 8:30pm at our lodge in Grantham, PA.  Please feel free to send us an email if you are interested in learning more about our programs for boys 11-18 years old.

Thanks to all the Dads that came to Summer Camp, I enjoyed my time with you in conversation and appreciate all the help you gave the Troop getting to/from camp and guiding the boys while we were there.  Special thanks to Mr. Stoner and SPL Cole Lutcavage as they counseled and lead all the boys, and Mr. Fatzinger for pulling the Trailer.  Please add any photos to our Troop 190 Facebook 2016 Summer Camp Folder  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1154120907960584&type=1

Yellow Breeches Tube Float - Thursday, July 28

The troop will hold its annual inner tube float on the Yellow Breeches on Thursday, July 28.  Please meet at the Messiah College parking lot beside the covered bridge at 5:45 pm.  We will start our float between 6 and 6:15.  We expect to done between 8 and 8:15 at Simpson Park.

Recycling Service Project

Our troop sponsors a recycling project through Terra Cycle.  The program is designed to recycle items that cannot be placed in the normal recycling trash container.  A list of the items we are collecting is below.  Please have your scout bring in items from the list each week.

  • Spray Bottle tops (trigger caps, flexible packaging & pouches - not the plastic bottles)
  • Toothbrushes, floss containers, toothpaste tubes & packaging 
  • Plastic pens, mechanical pencils, markers, highlighters - plastic parts only 
  • Clear "Scotch" tape dispensers & their plastic cores 
  • Cereal bags - inner sleeves of cereal boxes 
  • Snack bags (pretzels, chips, crackers, cheese curls, etc.)
  • Laundry, Soda, Cleaning, Medicine Screw Lids and Caps
  • Plastic safety seals, plastic labels on water, soda, tea and sport drinks

New Scout Rank Requirements

The new rank requirements began on January 1, 2016. If your scout completed their current rank after December 1, 2015, they should be using the new requirements.
