Scout Needed for Leadership Positions

Posted on Feb 27 2017 - 9:16am

A total of 7 scouts have requested leadership positions for the next 6 months.  A troop of our size needs a minimum of 11 scouts to serve in leadership roles.  All scouts with a rank of 1st class and above are eligible to serve in a leadership position.  A scout may serve in a leadership position even if they have already earned their leadership rank requirement.  If your son qualifies for a leadership position, please encourage them to volunteer by emailing Jeff Stoner at jstoner68@gmail.com.  Thanks.

Dear Fellow Troop 190 Members and Alumni,

Along with being a Boy Scout, I am a senior brown belt at the Dillsburg Karate Academy located at 220 South Second Street in Dillsburg.  I am working on my Eagle Scout project, which is planned to be a memorial rock garden to honor Sensei Gary Diven, a founder of the Dillsburg Karate Academy and an active member of the Dillsburg community prior to his death.  I am planning to build this rock garden this coming April and May in front of the building housing the Karate Academy on Second Street.
